Why can't the air compressor be gasped?

The air compressor is unable to provide the expected pressure or exhaust volume, which can be caused by:


1.The intake valve is not opened: After the air compressor is started, the intake valve needs to be opened by controlling the cylinder through the solenoid valve in order to draw in the air and enter the loading state. If a solenoid valve, cylinder, or intake valve fails, it may cause the compressor to fail to take in.


2.False loading of air compressor: The failure of the PLC output point may cause the air compressor to display the running loading state, but it does not actually send a signal to the solenoid valve, resulting in the air intake not working.


3.Minimum Pressure Check Valve Failure: If the internal pressure of the air compressor is high but there is no pressure output, it may be that the minimum pressure check valve is faulty. Replacing a check valve is often the best way to solve this type of problem.


4.Clogged water separators, lines, or air filters: Excessive deposits in the water separator, lines, or air filters can cause blockages that affect the normal operation of the air compressor.


5.Poor sealing of the exhaust valve plate of the air compressor: the spring of the exhaust valve plate is too soft or broken, or the bolts of the cylinder head are loose, and the sand hole and cylinder head gasket are damaged, which may cause the air compressor to not work properly.


6.Air compressor cylinder liner and piston and piston ring wear: Excessive wear may cause air leakage and affect the performance of the air compressor.


7.Lubricating oil problems: lubricating oil deterioration or too many impurities, insufficient or no oil supply, the displacement of bearings leads to the blockage of the internal oil circuit of the air compressor, and the strain between the bearing and the connecting rod bearing or the matching gap is too small, which may lead to the failure of the air compressor burning pad.


8.Control circuit failure: Relays, contactors, or controllers in the control circuit are damaged, which may cause the compressor to fail to start.


9.Motor failure: The motor windings are burned out or the motor bearings are damaged, which may cause the air compressor to be unable to operate.


10.Cooling system failure: Insufficient cooling water, clogged cooler, or damaged cooling fan can cause the compressor to overheat and affect its performance.


For these potential causes, they should be investigated one by one and corresponding measures should be taken, such as cleaning or replacing parts, checking and adjusting pressure settings, ensuring the quality and supply of lubricating oil, etc., to restore the normal operation of the air compressor.
